Proper nutrition is the pathway to good health. Food is medicine, but exercise and the Word of God also heals and brings good health.
Food is Medicine
The liver and the kidneys work together to detoxify the body.
What foods can you eat to naturally enhance the detoxification of these two organs?
​
To detoxify and support the liver:
Garlic , turmeric, beets, mushrooms, extra virgin olive oil and
cruciferous vegetables like brocolli, cabbage and
brussel sprouts.
​
To support the kidneys:
Cruciferous vegetables, garlic, turmeric, asparagus, celery, parsley, blueberries and green tea.
Exercise is Medicine
Chronic diseases such as hypertension, cholesterol, obesity, diabetes, osteoporosis, arthritis and back pain can be improved through regular physical activity. The center for disease control recommends everyone that can move their bodies 150 minutes per week. That's 30 minutes five times a week.
Exercise is also very effective to help manage stress which can wreck havoc on the body.
The Word of God is Medicine
Meditate on the Word to get healing benefits.

Healthy Eating Matters Recipe
Cinnamon Blueberry Whole Lemonade
Lemons are chock-full of vitamin C. The whole lemon along with blueberries and cinnamon make a healthy and refreshing drink.
Ingredients:
1 lemon, grated
1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries
1 tsp cinnamon
10-30 drops of liquid stevia
2 cups of water
Instructions:
Peel and separate the lemon into sections.
Add all ingredients in blender.
Blend on high for 1 minute.
Pour into glass and Enjoy!
