Annual Black Animation Film Festival 2024

5 Days of Fun!

For the 3rd Annual Festival, Nuts About Health, Inc. funded and sponsored the Young Filmmakers participation in the 48 Hour New Haven Film Project.

Our Role

The activities included attending the showcase of all films and Awards Ceremony. We also hosted a Wrap up Party that included a cooking activity, kite flying and a bonfire on the beach. The Young Filmmakers won “My Team Rocks” a film crew award for collaboration.  

 

The winners were awarded:

  • Q&A with professional filmmaker including information about media and film career opportunities

  • Tour of media center

  • Film critiqued by professional 

  • Demonstration of studio equipment

  • Opportunity to practice on equipment
