Faith is Now

Priscilla

I have learned that as a Christian it is my responsibility to grow and strengthen my faith. When I gave my life to Christ I had a small measure of faith, and I knew it was up to me to increase and strengthen that faith. Your faith is not going to grow if you do not hear, see, and speak the word of God. But how do I do that?

By watching my thoughts and my words. Faith is now. Faith is in the present. And for faith to work, I must believe and speak what I believe. Faith as in Romans 4:17, “Faith calls those things that are not as if they were” which means, I have to say what I want and speak that I have it now. You cannot say I am going to have, you must say “I have”. For example, I say “I have perfect health” because I have faith that I am on the path to perfect health. When you doubt, you irradiate that blessing. You need to speak the language of faith, and that faith is now, so those blessings are now. I speak God’s word to my situation, Mark 11:24 says, “Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that you receive them, and ye shall have them.”

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. –Romans 10:17
